Block reference

Qanvas has 15 blocks. This page lists what each one is for and the options its Inspector offers, in addition to the shared sections described in Blocks and the Inspector.

Site chrome

Header

The navigation bar at the top of every page. Shared by all pages.

  • Logo text, or a Brand logo image with a separate Dark mode logo.
  • Navigation links: a label and link for each. Select Add link to add one.
  • Primary CTA: an optional button on the right.
  • Link alignment and Link style & typography: link colour, background, weight, spacing and text decoration.
  • Surface style: Solid canvas, Frosted glass blur or Bordered shadow.
  • Sticky header: keeps the header visible while the page scrolls.
  • Mobile menu animations: the animation style, and whether the menu animates when it expands and collapses.

Footer

The footer at the bottom of every page. Shared by all pages.

  • Layout: Stacked or Columns. Stacked content can align left, center or right. Content spacing controls internal gaps separately from Vertical padding.
  • Tagline.
  • Columns & links: each column has a heading and links.
  • Callout banner: use Show callout in either layout to display a headline, description and action. Hiding it keeps its content.
  • Copyright & legal: optional utility links and your copyright text. Copyright has a full-width field below its label that starts at two rows and expands as you type, with a 200-character limit. It supports inline code, bold, italic and Markdown links, for example © 2026 Your company · [Built with Qanvas](https://getqanvas.com). Links render in preview and export in your site's link style, like links in the tagline and page text. Use safe web, email, telephone, site-relative or anchor destinations; unsafe URLs are not linked. Text wrapping in the field does not create rendered line breaks.
  • Credit: Show credit adds a line after the copyright: a Prefix such as Site by or Built with, then a logo (with an optional dark mode logo) or a Name as text, an optional link and its own Open in setting.
  • Top border and Border color.
