Help and feedback

Open the Help menu (the question mark in the top-right of the header) for the Guided Tour, issue reporting, and information about Qanvas.

Guided tour

Guided tour replays the spotlight tour from the first step, whichever mode you are in, and returns you to that mode at the end. See The Qanvas workspace for what it covers.

Report an issue or send feedback

Report Issue / Feedback lets you point at the exact part of a page you are talking about. It is available in Design, while the artboard is showing.

  1. Choose Help → Report Issue / Feedback.
  2. Click and drag on the artboard to select the area the report is about.
  3. Choose Bug Report or Feature Request.
  4. Add a Title and a Description: what happened and what you expected, or what you would like Qanvas to do and why.
  5. Optionally select Capture screenshot to attach an image of the selected area. You can Retake or Remove it. Without a screenshot, the report includes only the location you selected.
  6. Select Submit Report.

Reports are sent with the name and email from Settings → License → Customer profile, so add those first.

The support service that receives reports is not live yet. Until it is, submitting shows an error asking you to email your report to support@getqanvas.com instead.

Report through the chat

You can also describe a problem or idea to the AI and ask it to send it to support. It prepares a ticket and shows it to you, and nothing is sent until you select Confirm dispatch. See Working with the AI.

About Qanvas

About Qanvas shows the version you are running and who makes Qanvas.

Updates

When a newer version is available, a vX.Y.Z available badge appears in the header. Stop Qanvas and run:

npx getqanvas@latest

Updating never touches your projects or settings, which live in your Qanvas data folder.

For detailed release notes, engineering trade-offs, and design retrospectives with each release, follow the Devlog.
